Grote Industries, which specialises in high-performance LED lighting technology for the transportation industry, has introduced the "revolutionary" Trilliant 36 LED WhiteLight.

The LED light bulbs are the same size and shape of more traditional PAR 36 bulbs currently used in homes, but they offer users almost 100 times the lifespan - lasting for about 40,000 hours.

Installation of these new LEDs could offer savings of around £400 in replacements during the lifespan of one bulb.

The beam patterns offered by 36 Trilliant LED lamps have been specifically designed to focus light in particular ways.

This means that users can decide between a wide flood or TractorPlus beam pattern so the light can be used in different spaces and unique applications.

As well as the superior light quality, the manufacturer believe the bulbs will offer energy savings due to the LED technology, which requires a substantially reduced amount of electricity to operate when compared to traditional light sources.
